Transfer Students
Georgetown welcomes transfer applications to its undergraduate programs. Transfer applicants should have completed one full-time semester of at least twelve credits at the college level; otherwise they should follow the first-year student application procedure.
Normally, a B average or higher at the previous institution is recommended for consideration for admission. Transfer applicants who have been out of high school for 5 years or longer do not have to submit SAT/ACT scores. Transfer students are admitted only in the fall. Those admitted for the fall, however, may begin with summer sessions.
For more information on applying as a transfer student, including requirements and deadlines, please visit the Office of Undergraduate Admissions website. All transfer applications are handled by this admissions office.
