Researchers who hold a Ph.D. may seek affiliation with the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies (AIS) as Visiting Researchers.
Only a few Visiting Researchers are accepted each year to be approved by the Department Chair. Visiting Researchers must have an AIS tenure faculty sponsor. Our tenure faculty are listed below. Please reach out to the faculty member directly, as per your field of interest. To find out more about each faculty member’s research details, click on the faculty member’s name. The visiting researcher must pay a semester fee as per the requirements of the Office of the Provost.
